The Adulterers
Mighty morphin folk/funk mobsters The Adulterers are the business. With a line up that constantly shifts no gig is the same, indeed the constant air of chaos the band carries adds to their impact on stage. Over a year old The Adulterers gigs are infrequent but much vaunted on any music lovers calendar, a guitar heavy sound with the flute adding a second voice to singer Fuzzy’s vocals. Expect a sound influenced by The Pentangle, Headhunters and John Mayall add to that some big hair and you’ll not be far off. The Pistol Apostles
Bawling, ballsy blues rock from a stripped down to the chassis three piece. Having only played a handful of gigs the Apostles went to ground several months ago only to re-appear with a new drummer and a more mature sound. Frontman Steve (always a spectacle of rock ethics and useful arrogance) may very well spontaneously combust from all the unspent energy. They are all pretty boys but it’s my advice to stand a couple of rows back just in case he goes up.
